FPM Proudly Announces 2010 SXSW Showcase!

SUBURBAN HOME RECORDS TEAMS WITH SAN FRANCISCO BLOG AND SALOON TO PROVIDE SXSW SHOWCASE

Suburban Home Records is pleased to announce that it has joined forces with relatively new San Francisco based blog Front Porch Musings (www.frontporchmusings.com) and relatively old Grant & Green Saloon, also located in San Francisco. The three will be sponsoring a South By Southwest showcase fittingly named “Suburban Home Records & Friends” on Saturday March 20th from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Friends bar located at 208 E 6th Street in downtown Austin. The line-up will include Suburban Home artists Two Cow Garage from Ohio, Austin Lucas from Indiana, and Austin transplants (by way of Tallahassee) Look Mexico. Our friends will include The Only Sons from the southern-rock hotbed of Murfreesboro, TN; Kentucky’s favorite State Champion; American Aquarium out of Raleigh, NC; and another Murfreesboro staple, Glossary.

The show will be kicked off at 10:30 AM with Two Cow Garage’s Micah Schnabel featuring songs from his solo debut “When The Stage Lights Go Dim.” Following Schnabel will be The Only Sons who have seen a great amount of success from 2009’s “Steel Hearts,” and are also gaining steam for their upcoming release “American Stranger.” Label-mates State Champion will take the stage from there promoting 2010’s much anticipated album “Stale Champagne” which will be a fitting way to close out the morning as the Mimosa buzz wears off and the beer starts to flow like water. The afternoon will get started by Austin’s own Look Mexico, blasting tracks from their forthcoming album “To Bed to Battle” (being released 3/23/10). Suburban Home troubador Austin Lucas will take the stage from there, touring with a full backing band for the first time ever. On the heels of their sixth full-length release “Feral Fire” veteran rockers Glossary will come next, and their performance will surely be as highly anticipated as their new album. The show will be closed out by Two Cow Garage who will have just wrapped recording for their 5th yet to be titled album.
